# Application Metric Deprecations - June 2026

> Application- and category-level activity metrics Artemis will no longer maintain as part of a migration toward equities coverage.

  As part of a large migration to move more towards equities, Artemis has removed support for the application- and category-level activity metrics listed below. Historical data will remain available where it already exists, but these metrics will not receive ongoing updates. This affects users across Snowflake, API, Sheets, and Terminal products. The metrics below should not be treated as actively maintained coverage unless Artemis publishes a future update.

<Note>
  **`DAU` and `DAILY_TXNS` are a special case.** For these two metrics, only long-tail **applications and categories** are no longer supported — they remain **fully supported for chains and protocols**. All other metrics in the list below are deprecated.

## Why

We unfortunately had to remove support for these as part of a large migration to move more towards equities. For `DAU` and `DAILY_TXNS`, coverage for chains and protocols is unaffected; only long-tail application- and category-level support has been retired.
